WOULD YOUR BUSINESS WELCOME A JOLLY BIG BUSINESS BOOST?

We have launched our bid to find the most exciting young businesses in Northern Ireland, with the announcement of our Jolly Big Business Boost competition. The lucky winners of the competition targeting young entrepreneurs, will be given the opportunity to trade for FREE at the Belfast Christmas Market from the 19 November until 22 December 2022. To boost their chances of success, they’ll also be supported by the Christmas Market team with business mentoring and PR opportunities.

The festive market, which opens in the gardens of Belfast City Hall on 19 November is set to attract in excess of one million visitors throughout its duration, offering a unique platform for new businesses to promote themselves.

The Jolly Big Business Boost competition offers a once in a business lifetime opportunity for those that have been operating for at least six but no more than 24 months. Over the four weeks of the Christmas Market, the winning business will have an invaluable opportunity to showcase their product(s) to over one million potential customers.

Market Place Managing Director, Allan Hartwell said:

“The Jolly Big Business Boost competition is a great way for us to support new local businesses. For the winners it can be a steep learning-curve, but we are here to support them all the way with practical business advice. This competition can be a great way to fast-track business development and growth. We have no doubt that trading at the Belfast Christmas Market in 2022 will provide a very solid foundation for the winner’s future business success.”

This year entries will be judged by the fabulous Gourmet Boys, the Belfast based fanatical foodies will be on the lookout for eye catching products and mouthwatering treats.

They will be supported in their role as chief judges by Belfast City Council Market’s Manager Clodagh Cassin, Consultant to the Creative Industries Esther Haller Clarke and Market Place Managing Director Allan Hartwell

The Gourmet Boys said
